That’s the question that we (myself, Roger Mayer of NC State and Jing Zhao at Portland State) lately studied in a paper that’s forthcoming within the finance journal: Financial Administration. The following chart reveals percentile ranks (zero – lowest; 100 – highest) on “regulatory quality” for India and the countries whose laws the Committee has most ceaselessly cited in the White Paper. This ranking is from the World Governance Indicators (WGI) revealed by the World Financial institution.
